Russian Ambassador to Poland Sergey Andreyev was organized at the Polish Embassy in Moscow, Russia, similar to the painted attack on 9 may. A group threw red paint on the wall of the Polish Embassy. The attack was thought to be in response to the attack on Ambassador Andreyev.
Following the attack on Ambassador Andreyev, the Russian Foreign Ministry called the Polish Ambassador to Russia, Krzysztof Krajewski, to the Ministry and demanded an official apology. “Russia expects an official apology from the Polish administration regarding the incident and demands the security of all employees of the Russian Ambassador and Russian institutions in Poland. A decision will be made on further steps based on Warsaw’s response to our demands.”
