US President Joe Biden announced that they would provide Ukraine with $800 million in weapons and defense support while the Russia-Ukraine war was ongoing.
Biden’s statements were followed by a warning from Russia that US support for Ukraine would have consequences. It is reported that Russia has given the United States a note for the weapons it has provided to the Ukrainian army.
Russia has allegedly sent a diplomatic note to the State Department warning of “unpredictable consequences” if this support continues, officially protesting the ongoing US arms shipment to Ukraine later this week,
US CNN television reported, citing two US officials. The note, called “Demarche,” came after US President Joe Biden announced an $800 million aid package for the Ukrainian military that includes helicopters, radar systems, cannons and unmanned aerial vehicles. It is claimed that Moscow is expected to protest the shipments, while it is unclear whether this means that Russia will change its behavior in any way.
